Helping the Easter Bunny
Without those who take on the role of the Easter Bunny each year, Easter wouldn’t be the same. The latest Migros campaign is a heartfelt tribute to all the moms, dads, grandparents, and godparents who continuously make Easter a magical celebration for their loved ones. This year, Easter was nearly ruined. The Easter Bunny gets injured in a traffic accident and can no longer hide the eggs. Fortunately, help comes from an unexpected source! No real animals were harmed during the production of this film, thanks to our CG bunny.
We had a lot of fun bringing the Easter Bunny to life together with director Bart Timmer and the creatives from WIRZ. When we set out to create our CG Easter Bunny, we knew it had to be more than just a realistic looking bunny; it had to be pure charm. From the first sketch to final rendering, every detail mattered. Big, sparkling eyes, soft fur, and playful energy were key to making it feel real. Our 3D team sculpted, textured, and groomed the cutest, most huggable bunny possible. Adding subtle movements like a cheeky nose wiggle and an inquisitive head tilt made it feel alive.
With thoughtful lighting and seamless compositing, our bunny blended effortlessly into its world. Color grading by our own Patski, creating a mood fitting to this story and helping our bunny feel integrated even more!
Throughout the process, we loved the challenge of refining each element, watching the character evolve with every step. The final result? A warm, endearing film that adds a little extra magic to Easter.
