Talking Dogs – ANWB
For this lighthearted ANWB commercial, we brought two canine characters to life by making them talk. Real dogs were filmed on set, and we replaced their snouts in post with fully CGI-animated mouths, carefully matched to their performance and body language. The result: dogs that speak with humor, charm, and surprising emotional nuance.
At Postoffice Amsterdam, we took a full-service approach to this production. In addition to the VFX and animation, we also handled the voice casting, audio post-production, and color grading. Ensuring a seamless creative flow from start to finish.
Our in-house team developed custom AI-driven animation tools to streamline and enhance lip-sync and facial performance, enabling more natural, expressive movement. This proprietary technology allowed us to push the boundaries of realism and comedic timing while maintaining creative flexibility throughout the process.
Working closely with Hotel L’Amour and the brilliantly funny Jeroen Annokkee, we crafted a spot where high-end VFX meets sharp storytelling. From expressive animation and seamless tracking to rich sound design and polished grading, this project is a true showcase of what we do best: turning ambitious ideas into entertaining, technically refined work.
